Are the instruments telling the true story.
Wind Measurement International offer a range of instruments to measure wind speed, wind direction, pressure, temperature and pressure. The instruments meet the demands of the large wind farm developer to the cost-sensitive small wind turbine owner. The instruments are matched with a range of robust loggers to record and transmit the data.
Anemometers & Windvanes: Anemometers measure wind speed, either by simple rotational cup or by the change in reflective properties of light or sound waves due to air movement. This change in reflective properties also allows the measurement of wind direction but it is normally measured by the rotation of a well-balanced, low friction vane.
Pressure, Temperature and Humidity: These additional wind climate properties of the air allow a greater certainty in the prediction of the wind energy potential of a site and the operating environment of the future turbine(s).
Loggers. Wind Measurement International supplies Campbell Scientific, Ammonit and Nomad2 loggers. All our loggers can be programmed to send SMS warning texts warning of instrument malfunction. All loggers are supplied with an appropriate photo-voltaic charging system and GSM modem to give year round, stand alone, reliable data access up into the North Hebredes.
Will the banks accept the data.
