WMI chooses Nexgen met masts for their reliability and ease of installation in difficult to access sites. To meet market gaps, WMI also designs and manufacures its own specialist masts. All masts are designed to meet British Statandards and IEC recommendations. Masts are available with lightening protection options and either galvanised or stainless steel guy wires. Smaller masts are anchored with simple to install drive-in anchors, whilst larger masts use either dig-in dead-man anchors or rock pinning.

All our masts are supplied with aluminium or stainless steel booms to meet instument to mast separations greater than 9 mast diameters, to minimise the effects of mast wind shadow.
